About The Position

Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for night shifts. This position involves 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The role requires a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. Candidates must possess an active Ohio license or an active compact state license. Required certifications include AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Orientation, lasting 32-40 hours, will be paid at 50% of the base hourly rate. Successful completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores is mandatory. Hours worked will be submitted via Qualivis – Lotus One.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio license or an active compact state license.
• AHA BLS required.
• AHA ACLS required.
• NIHSS required.
• Must achieve an acceptable score on the ECG rhythm recognition test during orientation.
• Must achieve an acceptable score on SafeMedicate during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Work night shifts, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM).
• Complete orientation, including ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate.
• Submit hours worked via Qualivis – Lotus One.
