About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the MS/Tele unit. The schedule is 3x12-hour shifts, days, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every third weekend and holidays as needed. Floating between Cone Health campuses is required for all travelers. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required, and first-time travelers are not accepted. Acute Care Rehab experience is preferred. The unit provides specialized care for qualified patients with rehabilitation needs, including those recovering from stroke, aneurysm, and post-operative surgical conditions. Patient ratios are typically 1:6, with one unit having a 1:7 ratio on a rotating basis, where the seven patients have the same acuity as six patients on other units.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• BLS
• EPIC
• Experience with CVA, TBI, ABI, Spinal Cord Injury, Neurological dx, generalized debility

Nice To Haves

• Acute Care Rehab experience preferred
