About The Position

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and according to established procedures, the Registered Nurse performs patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort, and safety of patients. The position is per diem, Level 1, with 32–72 hours per six-week schedule. It is based in Elmhurst, Illinois, and works day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Associate degree or higher in Nursing. If an Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, the employee must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of the position start date.
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of the position start date.
Certificate of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one year of the position start date.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of the position start date.

Nice To Haves

Two years of Mother Baby experience preferred.
