About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). This position involves providing critical care to adult patients, requiring a high level of skill and expertise. The role offers 12-hour night shifts and requires flexibility to float to other units within the OSU organization as needed. The unit maintains a favorable nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1.
Requirements
- Active RN experience in ICU/MICU required
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system

- Arterial lines

- Blood product administration

- Dysrhythmia interpretation
- 12-lead EKGs

- Stroke and neuro care
- BiPAP/CPAP
- HFNC
- ABGs
- Wound vacs
- Isolation precautions
