About The Position

CoxHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at CoxHealth South. This part-time, night shift position involves providing direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients in a highly technical and ongoing monitoring environment. The role requires assessing patient conditions, performing diagnostic tests, initiating treatments, and assisting physicians with medical procedures. The nurse will monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays (e.g., intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, pulmonary artery pressures, cardiac rhythms, ventilator settings), and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The position offers opportunities for professional growth through in-hospital credentialing classes, a pay-it-forward program for certification exams, and a clinical ladder program with potential bonuses up to $5,000 annually. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
RN license active in the state of Missouri
BLS must be obtained within 90 days
ACLS must be obtained within one year of hire
