Our MICU offers elbow-to-elbow support and comes fully equipped to help you do what YOU do best, provide for our patients! The department is a 32-bed modern ICU equipped with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and state-of-the-art continuous renal replacement technology. Patient ratios are 1:1 or 2:1. This unit is well-staffed with ancillary support, a specialized STAT RN, and multiple nurse educators & coordinators on each shift. They provide supportive, individualized, and tailored orientation. Their ICU delivers a multimodal orientation program utilizing the latest evidence-based online education programs, interactive classroom lectures, and high-fidelity simulation. It is the only major referral care center and the only Level 1 trauma center and pediatric trauma center in the area. Baystate Medical Center's Intensive Care Unit was awarded the Beacon Award for excellence in critical care by the AACN 8 times since 2004. The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
Requirements
- Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year inpatient RN experience required.
- Diploma in Nursing (Required)
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts
