About The Position
MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for its Telemetry Unit. This unit focuses on providing excellent patient care while also prioritizing the well-being and professional development of its nursing staff. The hospital emphasizes supporting its colleagues, allowing Registered Nurses to practice at the top of their license by utilizing research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Opportunities for clinical instruction and further learning are available through the Telemetry Unit Nurse Residency program. The hospital welcomes applications from student nurses and recent graduate nurses.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Practice at the top of their license using research, innovation and evidence-based practices.
- Participate in clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as part of the Telemetry Unit Nurse Residency.
