Registered Nurse - Medical Telemetry
About The Position
Saint Luke's North Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Medical Telemetry Unit. This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week, working nights. The unit offers supportive leadership, with Nursing Assistants to assist, Intensivists and NPs working alongside RNs, and Respiratory Therapy available at night. Extra incentives are available for picking up additional shifts. The role involves utilizing the nursing process, performing and delegating patient care tasks, supervising other patient care staff, and coordinating the plan of care for assigned patients. The clinical nurse must demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Associate Degree

Responsibilities
- Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Responsible for performing patient care.
- Responsible for delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
- Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
