About The Position
This is a dedicated education unit, but the travel nurses will NOT be doing the educating, they will be caring for Med/Surg patients. The unit has 30 beds and cares for mixed Med/Surg patients. The nurse to patient ratio is 5-6:1. No RTO (Release Time Off) is allowed. Requires 2 years of experience, preferably in a Level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting. BLS is required, and ACLS is preferred. A positive attitude and timeliness are essential.
