Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical
About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical department that focuses on General and Bariatric Surgery patients. Typical patient populations and cases include General Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and Plastic Surgery. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience and a current AHA BLS certification. Experience caring for surgical patients is preferred. Candidates must also be available to work 2 of the following 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience required.
- AHA BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for surgical patients preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for General Surgery patients.

- Administer care in a Medical/Surgical setting.
