About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry for a 13-week travel assignment in Windsor, VT. This position involves providing direct patient care in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit, with potential to float to other units within the scope of practice. The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. The assignment is for night shifts and includes a guaranteed number of hours per week. Local travelers (residing within 50 miles) are not eligible for this position. Specific requirements regarding time off requests, call, and vehicle ownership are strictly enforced.

Requirements

2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience
CHARGE RN EXPERIENCE - Not negotiable!
Previous Travel (at least 3 months)
Must have and maintain current Active American Heart Association ACLS
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle
Must not be requesting schedule accommodations (Block scheduling, etc)
No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
Must be willing to float to any unit within their scope of practice

Responsibilities

Coordinates total nursing care for patients
Participates in patient and family teaching
Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse
Willingness to float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg and to any unit within scope of practice
Must take call
