About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, VT. This is an adaptive acuity unit where travelers may be asked to provide PCU care. Charge nurse experience is required for this position.

Requirements

2+ years of current med surg/tele experience
Charge experience
DRIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
MINIMUM 3 months' previous travel experience - NON-NEGOTIABLE
Experience with Insulin drips, emolol drips and sodium drips
Must have and maintain current Active American Heart Association ACLS
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Drug screen and background check (facility required)

Responsibilities

Using electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously track heart performance
Analyzing EKG results to establish baselines and spot abnormalities
Recording EKG results to keep patient information accurate
Overseeing stress tests to assess patients’ heart function
Delivering emergency medical care when patients suffer heart attacks or other life-threatening problems
Overseeing and coordinating the activities of telemetry technicians and other staff in their units
Administering medications and other treatments ordered by physicians
Educating patients on lifestyle changes and ongoing treatments prior to discharge from the hospital
