About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg Oncology for an exciting Travel or Local job in Tallahassee, FL. This is a Full-time / Direct Hire position with a shift schedule of Days (7a–7p) or Nights (7p–7a) and rotating weekends.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required
• Active Florida RN license or Compact License (FL required within 60 days)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred (required within 6 months)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
• Manage oncology and med-surg patient treatments independently
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Advocate for patient safety and individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatments and medications
• Provide emotional and clinical support throughout care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure efficient use of clinical resources and equipment
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
