About The Position
This role is for a Registered Nurse Manager in the Renal department at Ascension Providence in Waco, TX. The position is full-time with a day shift schedule. The manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, leading staff recruitment and development, resolving clinical care issues, implementing policies, and managing unit budgets.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience AND 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Responsibilities
- Ensure absolute compliance with all health-care accreditation, regulatory, and safety requirements across the unit.
- Lead the recruitment, training, professional development, and performance evaluation of departmental staff.
- Pro-actively identify and resolve systemic barriers to optimize the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Design and implement clinical policies and procedures that maximize efficiency and care effectiveness.
- Manage unit budgets and oversee expenditures to drive fiscal responsibility and resource alignment.
