WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing exceptional care in long-term care facilities. Requirements

Current and valid NY State RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care delivery.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions safely and accurately.
Monitor vital signs, symptoms, laboratory results, and overall health status.
Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in residents’ conditions.
Communicate significant findings and changes in condition to physicians and other healthcare providers.
Supervise and collaborate with Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs/LVNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other care staff.
Provide direction and support to nursing staff while maintaining appropriate delegation and supervision.
Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Educate residents and families regarding medications, treatments, disease management, and ongoing care.
