About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care within a Long-Term Care and Nursing Home environment. The RN will support resident health, safety, and well-being while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong assessment skills and a passion for serving geriatric and long-term care populations.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently in a structured care environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.
- Geriatric nursing experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Experience with EMR documentation systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive resident assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring.
- Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed therapies.
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to providers and nursing leadership.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Support resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Participate in care planning and resident/family education.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection prevention standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a positive and supportive care environment.
