About The Position
The Recovery Village Columbus Drug and Alcohol Rehab (RVC) is seeking dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurses to join their team. RVC is a premier treatment facility dedicated to helping individuals struggling with substance use disorder through a continuum of care, including detox, inpatient, and outpatient services. The facility offers a multidisciplinary approach with compassionate care from physicians, clinicians, and addiction specialists, complemented by amenities like yoga and art therapy for holistic healing. The Registered Nurse will perform a variety of duties, including caring for and educating patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions, establishing trust, and building rapport with patients and their families. This role is crucial in making a difference and saving lives by providing high-quality and compassionate care to those seeking recovery.
Requirements
- Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Licensed to practice in the State of licensure (RN), active and in good standing
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
- Behavioral health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients seeking addiction and mental health treatment
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
- Administer medications as indicated and monitor detoxification process
- Assess the medical and psychiatric needs of the patient, determine the urgency of their needs, and expedite treatment
- Educate patients about medications, health issues, and medical conditions
