83400 – Medical ICU Unit - Registered Nurse Level 2, Inpatient
About The Position

This is a full-time position with rotating shifts (Day/Evening/Night) of 12 hours. Holidays and weekends are required per unit policy, along with on-call responsibilities. The unit is teamwork-oriented and high-energy, specializing in pulmonary care, mechanical ventilation liberation, and the management of complex medical conditions. Patient diagnoses include acute/chronic respiratory failure, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, sepsis management, DKA, renal failure, and various neurological manifestations.
Requirements
- RN with one-year acute care experience.
- Candidates must demonstrate positive attitude, strong critical thinking skills, and be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or matriculation in BSN program preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
- Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
- Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services.
- Assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
