About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Labor & Delivery team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a supportive and professional environment focused on providing exceptional care to patients and their families. The unit has 12 L&D beds, 12 LDRP rooms, 1 OR suite for C-sections, 1 triage bed, and 12 postpartum beds. The unit averages 1.5 births per day (50-60 per month).

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery and couplet care is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips.
• Experience with intermediate fetal monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting.
• Assist with couplet care and the circulation of the operating room during C-sections.
• Titrate medications as necessary, including pitocin.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, while floating between L&D, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby units as required.
