Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery (Nights)
About The Position
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery for a 13-week travel assignment in Pella, IA. This position involves nights from 7p-7a, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The role requires providing direct patient care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, identifying complications, communicating with physicians, coaching mothers, and offering emotional support. The contract is for 13 weeks, starting on 10/5/2026, with a location in Pella, IA. The pay package includes hourly pay and a non-taxed stipend, with weekly total pay of $2182.90. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) used is Meditech.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
- Current Registration and Licensure in the State of Iowa as an RN.
- In good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
- Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
- Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
