About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery for a 13-week travel assignment in Pella, IA. This position involves nights from 7p-7a, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The role requires taking vitals for mom and baby, administering medication, monitoring contractions, identifying complications, communicating with the physician, coaching the mom, caring for the mom post-birth, and providing emotional support.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
Current Registration and Licensure in the State of Iowa as an RN
Must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing
Current ACLS certification
Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
Knowledge of nursing practices as they relate to acute care is required
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
