About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor and Delivery role, with additional responsibilities in postpartum care, couplet care, and the newborn nursery. The RN will also assist with OBGYN post-operative patients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Active Kansas nursing license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- All certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Previous completion of at least 2 travel contracts, with no first-time travelers accepted.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients and their newborns.
- Assist in postpartum care, ensuring the well-being of both mothers and babies.
- Deliver competent care in the newborn nursery, including assessments and interventions.
- Support OBGYN post-operative patients in their recovery process.
- Collaborate as part of a team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
