About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) unit. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Current and valid Nursing License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in L&D nursing preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients with intrauterine pregnancies, pre-eclampsia, and gestational diabetes.
- Manage water births and support families during labor and delivery.
- Titrate drips including Pitocin, magnesium, insulin, antihypertensives, and medications for hemorrhages as required.
- Collaborate with charge nurses and other staff to ensure effective patient care.
- Participate in the orientation program, including an open book skills exam.
- Assist with the training and supervision of healthcare assistants and OB techs.
