About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery, located in Wolf Point, Montana. The role is hospital-based and is for approximately 13 weeks, starting on 08/17/2026. The position guarantees 36 hours per week, with a 3x12 Night shift schedule. The RN will be responsible for providing care on both Med/Surg and Labor & Delivery units, with an expected 50/50 split in duties. There is a possibility of floating to other units as needed to ensure adequate staffing and smooth operations. This assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; professional state license submission required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Med/Surg experience acceptable
• Ability to float to other departments as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Labor & Delivery is highly encouraged
• Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE are encouraged

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care on Med/Surg and Labor & Delivery units, with a 50/50 split between the two services.
• Monitor maternal status and fetal well-being, administer medications, and support labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Perform routine and complex assessments, document findings, and collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies, implement rapid interventions, and ensure patient safety and infection control practices.
• Float to other departments as needed to maintain staffing coverage and department flow; participate in handoffs at shift change.
