About The Position

This role involves providing high-level clinical nursing for all deliveries, prioritizing safety and excellence. The nurse will design, implement, and adjust real-time patient care plans, monitor and communicate vital patient condition changes to ensure mother and baby safety. The position also serves as the central point for the multidisciplinary team, coordinating physicians, specialists, and support staff for seamless, holistic care. The nurse will precisely and empathetically manage the birth experience, from executing physician orders to meticulously planning for safe discharge.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
