Registered Nurse - IR (FT, 8hr day shift)
About The Position
This is a full-time, 8-hour day shift position (09:30-18:00) at Mount Zion, with the flexibility to float to other campuses. The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams, carrying out established nursing procedures and performing related duties. They provide nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision, and assist with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. Specifically, the RN will function as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at any Radiology site. The RN will carry out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to, during, and following Radiologic procedures. The RN will also assist with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- Experience with the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary and nursing team.
- Proficiency in carrying out established nursing procedures.
- Ability to perform nursing care for patients with complex needs with assistance and supervision.
- Skills in managing patient care administered by other nursing team members.
- Experience caring for patients undergoing procedures or exams in Radiology and Biomedical Imaging.
- Knowledge of preparing patients prior to, during, and following Radiologic procedures.
- Experience assisting with patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.
