Registered Nurse - IR (FT, 8hr day shift, MB)
About The Position
This is a full-time, 8-hour day shift position (9:30-18:00) working at MB with the ability to float to other campuses. The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams, carrying out established nursing procedures and performing related duties as required. This role involves providing nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision, and assisting with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. The RN will function as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients who are undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at any Radiology site. The RN carries out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and following the procedure. The RN assists with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.
