About The Position

This is a full-time, 8-hour day shift position (08:30-17:00) at Mount Zion, with the flexibility to float to other campuses. The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams, carrying out established nursing procedures and performing related duties. They provide nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision, and assist with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. The RN will be part of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at any Radiology site. Responsibilities include preparing patients prior to, during, and following radiologic procedures, and assisting with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license
  • Experience with the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary and nursing team.
  • Proficiency in carrying out established nursing procedures.
  • Experience in providing nursing care for patients with complex needs.
  • Ability to assist with the management of patient care.
  • Experience preparing patients for radiologic procedures.
  • Experience during and following radiologic procedures.
  • Experience assisting with patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.
