About The Position

This is a 10 hour day shift: 08:30-18:30 working at Parnassus with a rotating day off and the ability to float to other campuses. The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients who are undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at any Radiology site. The RN carries out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and following the procedure. The RN assists with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• Experience in the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Ability to perform established nursing procedures
• Ability to perform nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision
• Ability to assist with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team
• Ability to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and following the procedure
• Ability to assist with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases
