About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Interventional Radiology department at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. The position is PRN, with day shifts and a 30-minute call-back response time. The nurse will orchestrate the delivery of high-quality patient care by implementing comprehensive care plans and serving as the primary coordinator for all medical disciplines. They will drive clinical excellence by executing physician orders and monitoring patient conditions with critical thinking and decisive judgment necessary for high-pressure environments. Additionally, the nurse will facilitate successful patient outcomes by leading discharge planning efforts and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure a seamless transition beyond the hospital.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
