About The Position

FlexStaff is seeking a bilingual Registered Nurse Instructor to help develop and expand a Chinese-speaking HHA and PCA training program. This full-time role focuses on training and empowering caregivers and serving New York’s Chinese-speaking community. The successful candidate will have home care experience and fluency in English and Mandarin; Cantonese or Fuzhou dialects are also noted as a plus.

The instructor conducts HHA/PCA training and orientation in compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations, teaches and evaluates trainees in classroom and skills-training settings, and maintains training and competency records. The role also supports annual aide competency assessments, in-service education, collaboration with clinical leadership and training staff, and growth of the Chinese-speaking caregiver workforce.

Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of home care experience.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese; Mandarin is preferred.
• Strong communication and teaching skills.
• Passion for serving the Chinese-speaking community.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

Nice To Haves

• Cantonese or Fuzhou dialect proficiency.
• Experience in caregiver training, orientation, or staff education.
• Experience with HHA/PCA supervision.
• Familiarity with New York State Department of Health home care regulations.

Responsibilities
