About The Position

The Registered Nurse III (Clinical Nurse III) is a proficient and experienced clinician who provides comprehensive care to complex patients using advanced assessment skills, critical thinking, and strong technical and organizational abilities. The role requires in-depth knowledge of nursing care for the unit’s patient population and specialized skills in managing care for individual patients and groups, including their families. The Clinical Nurse III also mentors colleagues and supports staff development. The role also includes comprehensive direct and indirect nursing care, patient and family education, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and participation in quality improvement and unit initiatives.
