About The Position

The Registered Nurse II at Employee Health Services provides safe and efficient clinical care for employment-related services. Services may include pre-employment health screenings, injury and exposure-related care, fast hire events, vaccine administrations, phlebotomy, and drug testing. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday on the day shift, with no nights, holidays, or weekends.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or an AHA-recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• For RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013, an associate or diploma degree in nursing requires enrollment in an accredited BSN program within two years and successful completion of a BSN degree within four years of the RN hire or reclassification date.
• Ability to perform the stated physical functions, including standing, sitting, walking, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, and working in a latex-safe environment.
• Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
