About The Position

The Registered Nurse organizes and provides nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, and delegates aspects of care to nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. The role contributes to the facility’s and Essentia’s mission and goals and meets applicable Joint Commission and other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting requirements. In Employee Health, the nurse recognizes occupational hazards and facilitates changes to control them, provides early intervention to recognize and treat illnesses and injuries, and maintains confidential employee medical records.

Requirements

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current nursing licensure in the state(s) of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.

• Organize and provide nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
