About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level, using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. This is a PRN position with a choice of 24 or 48 hours per six weeks at a fixed rate.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (or an AHA-recognized equivalent) or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Ability to perform the physical and mental functions described in the job description, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, working rotating shifts, and working overtime as required.
