About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families at the competent level, using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

The position is in the Bronchoscopy & PICC unit. Scheduled work hours are 7:00–4:30, Monday through Friday, on the day shift. The role requires the ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required. The posting identifies 20 scheduled weekly hours and PRN in the job title.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or an AHA-recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Ability to perform the listed physical and mental functions, including standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, and working in various positions and environments.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
