About The Position

This role involves leading the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in the ICU department at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital. The Registered Nurse will coordinate a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, holistic patient care focused on optimal clinical outcomes. Key responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting patient conditions in real-time, acting as a communication link between patients and the medical team, and advocating for patients by initiating and managing discharge plans for a safe transition home.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience required

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
