About The Position

This is a travel, temporary assignment for a Registered Nurse in the ICU at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital in Sonora, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/21/2026. The position offers 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,068 to $2,189.

Requirements

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required; ACLS/ARC-ALS and PALS/ARC-PALS required.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in ICU or acute care settings.
Ability to work in an ICU/acute care environment.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
Acute care facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established nursing standards and the nursing process.
Assess patient data, identify care needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care with interventions to achieve outcomes.
Collaborate with the treatment team, patients, and families; supervise and coordinate activities of other nursing staff as assigned.
Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care and outcomes in the medical record.
Participate in discharge planning and provide patient and family education to support safe transitions of care.
Maintain a safe, healing environment, adhere to infection control practices, and promote quality care throughout the shift.
