About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a minimum of two years of nursing experience, with prior travel assignment completion preferred. The nursing unit caters to a variety of patient types, including: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Respiratory Distress, Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), Atrial Fibrillation with Rapid Ventricular Response (A-fib RVR), Diabetes Mellitus (DM), Blood Product Administration, Bipap Therapy, Stroke (CVA) Overflow, Post-Catheterization Patients, and Various Surgical Patients (Vascular, Abdominal, GI, etc.). This position includes floating to ICU-level care or lower throughout the facility. Weekend rotation will occur every other week. Shift times are as follows: Night Shift: 1900-0730, Day Shift: 0700-1930. Scrub color is flexible, but must remain professional. Requirements

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience
• Prior travel assignment completion preferred
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• EMR: EPIC experience

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive patient care
• Handling chest tubes and wound vacs
• Performing dressing changes
• Monitoring femoral arterial sheaths and associated procedures
• Administering drips such as diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitroglycerin, and heparin
• Interacting with specialized equipment, including possibly Art lines, Impella, and IABP
• Floating to ICU-level care or lower throughout the facility
