About The Position

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a 12-bed intensive care unit. This is a full-time position with 12-hour night shifts. The role involves managing ventilated patients, critical care drips, arterial lines, and other ICU equipment, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Experience with various critical conditions and procedures is essential. The unit offers a favorable nurse-to-patient ratio and 24/7 support from respiratory therapists and administrative staff.

Requirements

• 2+ years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Experience with basic ICU equipment and critical care medications
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with STEMI, post-cardiac catheterization, coronary interventions
• Experience with Sepsis, ARDS, DKA, CVA, renal failure, AFib RVR
• Experience with Pneumonia, ventilated patients, post-operative patients
• Experience with IABP, temporary pacemakers, hypothermia protocols, and critical care drips

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Manage ventilated patients, critical care drips, arterial lines, and other ICU equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Educate patients and families and provide compassionate support.
• May float to ED or Med/Surg based on experience and staffing needs.
