About The Position

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Los Angeles, CA. The position is for a night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The assignment is in a home healthcare - hospice setting and is supported by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. The start date is anticipated to be 09/28/2026, with a weekly pay range of $2,113 to $2,258 and 36 guaranteed hours per week. This is a temporary assignment.

Requirements

Active RN license for the state of California (state of practice)
Minimum two years of recent nursing experience; ICU/acute care experience preferred
BLS certification; ACLS certification required per policy
EPIC experience required
BSN degree preferred
Ability to work night shifts and perform in a home healthcare - hospice setting
Holiday time off not approved as per assignment notes

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and document findings in the electronic health record with accuracy.
Develop and implement care plans, coordinate with the healthcare team, and adjust interventions as patient needs evolve.
Educate patients and families, provide learning opportunities, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels when appropriate, while maintaining a safe and compassionate care environment.
