About The Position

Elara Caring is seeking a Registered Nurse Home Health to provide nursing care in patients’ homes in Wauconda, Illinois, and surrounding areas. The nurse assesses patients’ care needs, provides care according to the plan of care and physician orders, monitors patient conditions, and supports safe, continuous care. The role also includes protecting patient and staff privacy in accordance with HIPAA and educating patients and families about care and safety. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

Nice To Haves

• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine their care needs.
