About The Position

Mass General Brigham Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, utilize clinical judgment, and make a difference in patients' homes. The RN will have the independence to manage their patients and schedule while being supported by a strong team. The position is represented by a collective bargaining unit, Massachusetts Nurses Association. Mass General Brigham Home Care is recruiting for opportunities throughout Boston and surrounding communities, including West End/China Town, Boston, Charlestown, Cambridge, Jamaica Plain/Roxbury, Waltham/Framingham, East Boston/Winthrop, and Dorchester. The role involves working with a diverse patient population and providing care in their homes. The team offers a schedule that works for the individual, including full-time, part-time, Monday-Friday (no evenings) or weekends only, with 3-6 visits per day and autonomy to manage their own schedule. The service area is focused to minimize travel, with convenient office access for supplies and city parking passes provided. Dedicated Admission RN support helps establish care plans, and ancillary support services (scheduling coordinators, liaisons) handle administrative needs. A strong team culture with weekly interdisciplinary pod meetings, monthly team meetings, and quarterly in-person team days fosters collaboration. Ongoing training, education, and opportunities to collaborate across disciplines support professional growth. The onboarding process is designed to prepare RNs for independent work in the community, with ongoing training and professional development opportunities. The role includes dedicated time for documentation, chart review, and care coordination using an MGB electronic documentation system. Safety resources such as GPS-enabled safety tools, real-time alert features, and security-supported key fob access are provided for field work.
