Join the Hematology Oncology Ambulatory team and provide coordinated, patient-centered care for complex hematology and oncology patients in a fast-paced specialty clinic supporting 7 physicians, 1 physician assistant, and 6 nurse practitioners. This Monday through Friday, day-shift position (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) focuses on care coordination, symptom and medication management, treatment oversight, diagnostic and specialty care navigation, and real-time support of provider and patient care needs. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple pathways of care across the healthcare continuum. Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be made for candidates with more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO approval).
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.

Responsibilities
