About The Position
The Registered Nurse General Duty Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care in the General Surgical Nursing Unit at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. The nurse actively participates in a model of care integrating quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient- and family-centred care. The role promotes the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s mission, vision and values through safe, quality nursing care to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN); a nursing diploma is acceptable.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, critical-thinking, communication, decision-making, time-management and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
