About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory clinic team. Our RN plays an essential role in coordinating patient care, providing education and supporting treatment plans.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to work in Colorado.
1-year of RN experience is required.
Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care.
BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
Eligible to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not provided).

Nice To Haves

Prior ambulatory care, gastroenterology, hepatology, infusion, or specialty clinic experience preferred - "GI Knowledge"

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care coordination for challenging digestive diseases including: Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), Hepatology patients with liver-related disorders, Pancreatobiliary patients with pancreatic and biliary conditions, and General gastroenterology patients requiring ongoing management and follow-up.
Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
Manage telephone triage, patient questions, medication coordination, and follow-up care.
Assist with biologic therapies, specialty medications, prior authorizations.
Promote evidence-based practice and excellent patient experiences.
