About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its outpatient dialysis team, providing care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The role offers hands-on nursing in a fast-paced environment, long-term patient relationships, and the opportunity to apply a broad range of nursing skills while caring for medically complex patients. The position floats to nearby clinics as needed, and a flexible schedule is required. Training may take place at a clinic other than the employee’s home location.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for shifts that may occur on mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN/CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
