The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Float Pool at Texas Health Southwest and Texas Health Clearfork delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process, which includes assessing the patient, planning the care, intervening as appropriate, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. The role also involves incorporating age-specific safety and infection control measures, initiating actions to meet patient and/or significant others' need for information, and maintaining continuity of patient care across shifts, hospitals, and during transfers. Texas Health Southwest is a 261-bed, full-service hospital serving the southwest Fort Worth area, specializing in surgical services, orthopedics, rehabilitation, imaging, and adult critical care, with a 24-hour emergency department.
