About The Position

This travel assignment supports an outpatient cardiac rhythm management device program with implanted CRM devices. The role involves providing licensed RN care in an outpatient CRM device program for adult patients (18+) with implanted cardiac devices. Responsibilities include interrogating and programming implanted cardiac rhythm management devices (pacemakers, ICDs, implanted loop recorders) per established protocols, documenting device checks, patient data, and outcomes in the EPIC EMR, and collaborating with the cardiovascular/EP team on pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure activities and follow-ups. The nurse will also monitor cardiovascular physiology, patient status, and device function, responding to changes in patient condition per clinical guidelines, and supporting clinic workflows with appropriate procedures, infection control practices, IV access, and patient education as assigned.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in good standing (state of employment as applicable)
  • BLS certification
  • Pacemaker/ICD Technician program or equivalent job experience
  • EPIC EMR experience within the last 2 years
  • Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology
  • Ability to work independently in an outpatient CRM device clinic and manage device-related tasks
