About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse – Endoscopy travel/contract position based at a major regional medical facility in Akron, OH. The role requires a minimum of 18 months of permanent Endoscopy experience and includes a mix of scheduled day shifts and rotating on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months permanent Endoscopy experience required
- Ohio RN License or a compact state RN License required
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Endoscopy nursing proficiency
- Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule (weekday and weekend)
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirement (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
- Compliance with flu vaccination requirement (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
Responsibilities
- Perform endoscopy nursing duties across rotating day shift schedules (7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- Fulfill 1–2 weekday call shifts per week after shift until 7:00 AM
- Fulfill 1–2 weekend calls per 6-week cycle (24 hours, Saturday and Sunday)
- Respond to call within 1-hour response time
- Provide coverage for potential Labor Day call
